Graduate Student Funding Opportunities
Araceli Frias,
our Graduate Student Coordinator is available to introduce graduate
students to the efficient use of funding databases to locate
extramural funding related to dissertation/thesis research
fellowships, internship/postdoc opportunities, or conference/travel
funding. Once students have located a grant opportunity they are
interested in, she can walk through the proposal submission process
with students to include: help interpreting funding program
guidelines, facilitate communication between students and sponsors,
and provide proposal application editing tips upon request.
Lastly, Araceli is available to provide one-on-one or group
instruction on identifying funding opportunities and writing
effective proposals.
